Scott Rubin has been with Plaza Companies for more than 15 years, and currently serves as the Co-President, Assets and Investments and as a member of the company’s Executive Council. Scott joined Plaza just as the first building at SkySong was being commissioned. Since that time, Scott has overseen all aspects of the SkySong project and Plaza’s long-standing partnership with the City of Scottsdale and Arizona State University, working closely with numerous public and private entities to guide its growth and long-term success. Since first opening, SkySong has grown to generate $1.3 billion in annual economic activity.

Scott has led the growth of Plaza Companies’ property and asset management divisions, overseeing more than six million square feet in portfolios for institutional and private owners, as well as Plaza-developed assets and third-party management assignments. He has an extensive background in commercial real estate with more than 20 years in the industry, the majority of which has been focused on the office and medical real estate sectors, including multiple high profile and complex multi-phased development projects. In addition to his broad Class A Office background, Scott is highly knowledgeable in both the retail and industrial sectors, having spent substantial time working on both property types in Phoenix, Arizona and Las Vegas, Nevada. 

In 2025, Scott was part of AZ Big Media’s People to Know in Property Management and in 2026 was recognized as part of the Sun Devil 100. Scott is also a member of NAIOP.

A graduate of Arizona State University, Mr. Rubin spent six years as a real estate manager with Cushman & Wakefield’s Phoenix office prior to signing on to assist with property management and leasing with Plaza Companies. Mr. Rubin holds an Arizona Real Estate License, and has successfully obtained his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation from the CCIM Institute.
