Who is Susan Byram?
Susan joined the Plaza Companies team in 2011 and has more than a decade of project management and construction experience. She leads a team of project management professionals including general contractors, architects, engineers, and various consultants.
Susan has many responsibilities within the firm, including managing commercial developments and tenant improvements, working with municipalities to expedite reviews and streamline the permitting process, initiating and maintaining dry utility design and installation for all projects, and more.
Susan’s Most Recent Developments
Susan has recently managed the development and construction of Estrella Medical Plaza IIA, a Class A, four-story, 60,000 square foot medical office building on the Banner Estrella Hospital Campus in the West Valley. She was also a part of the team that redeveloped Park Central, built the just-completed and new Creighton University Health Sciences Campus, and built the Catalina Parking Garage on site.
What is Susan’s Background?
Prior to Plaza Companies, Susan worked for Phoenix-based D&J Wolf Development, Inc. Susan also gained experience working with T.L. Steimel & Associates, Inc. where she contributed her efforts in the construction of the Paradise Valley Medical Office Building, Venture Court Professional Plaza in Anthem, Oro Valley’s Splendido at Rancho Vistoso Continuing Care Retirement Community, and Plaza Town Center in Peoria.
Susan has a Master’s degree in Real Estate Development as well as a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a Communications minor, all from Arizona State University. In addition, she is a LEED Accredited Professional and Qualifying Party for Class B 1 General Commercial Contractor License.
