Who is Jon Stelzer
Jon brings a wide range of skills and knowledge to Plaza Companies. Before joining us in 2007, he held a very successful career in project management and construction. We rely on him to oversee our companies’ construction of medical, office, healthcare, and senior living properties. Additionally, he’s very active in small physician office remodels, tenant improvement projects, and various other property ventures.
Along with his construction expertise, Jon Stelzer is proficient in project management. This role often involves working with general contractors, architects, engineers, and other consultants to finish projects successfully. His responsibilities include participation in the development of the design document, review and evaluation of project schedules and budgets, supervising on-site management and day-to-day quality control, and building an operational staff.
What Projects Has Jon Stelzer Been A Part Of?
Jon oversees the master development of SkySong, The ASU Scottsdale Innovation Center, totaling 1.2 million square feet when completed.
He has completed construction management for SkySong 5, SkySong 4, and SkySong 3, each being 150,000 square foot office buildings. He is currently completing the design for SkySong 6, a 340,000 square foot, 6-story office building.
Jon managed the development and construction of Vi at Silverstone, a $242 million, 735,651 SF luxury senior living community in North Scottsdale. He also managed the development of Estrella Medical Plaza II, a Class A, 4 story, 60,000 SF medical office building on the Banner Estrella Hospital Campus in the West Valley.
Most recently, he played a major role in developing two additional buildings on the Park Central site: the 7-story, 180,000 square foot health sciences building for Creighton University and a 10-story 2,001 stall parking structure.
