Plaza Companies has added new members to its Executive Leadership Council in key business verticals.

The Executive Leadership Council represents the top management team within the organization. Two new members have been added to the Council: Ginger Stevenson, who was promoted to Chief Accounting Officer; and Elizabeth Berry, who was promoted to Senior Director of Development Services.

They join Sharon Harper, Chairman & CEO; Jon Stelzer, Executive Managing Director of Development, Design and Construction; Scott Rubin, who was recently promoted to Executive Managing Director of Asset Management; Susan Byram, Senior Vice President of Design and Construction; and Bill Cook and Margaret Lloyd, who are both Senior Vice President Brokerage Services.

“We are pleased to continue to add more talent and expertise to our Executive Leadership Council to help guide our company’s growth and future,” said Sharon Harper, Chairman and CEO of Plaza Companies. “Each of these individuals have shown an exceptional ability to meet the needs of our clients and partners, and we are thrilled to have them take on expanded roles in the company.”

The Executive Council provides Plaza Companies with a broad-based leadership structure across the company’s operations, and members share in the company’s success and profits.

Stevenson has been with Plaza for the past two years, and in her new role provides strategy and direction for Corporate and Investment entities and manages banking/lending, insurance, and legal relationships. She has taken the lead internally in working to streamline and improve Plaza’s accounting, reporting and management processes and enhance the way Plaza serves its clients and partners.

“Ginger has been heavily involved with systems conversions and enhancements as well as team training, and has spent a total of 23 years honing her expertise in the finance sector,” said Scott Rubin, Executive Managing Director of Asset Management. “Ginger brings both business acumen and best practices to the Plaza portfolio and is an important part of our team.”

Berry’s new position allows her to utilize her extensive political communications skill set, along with her background in business and journalism, to lead development projects. Berry is involved with all of Plaza’s flagship projects in ensuring they are built through mutually beneficial partnerships and with the highest standard of quality, with an emphasis on some of the company’s bioscience efforts. She has also led first-of-its-kind workforce training efforts through partnerships with the City of Phoenix, Maricopa County Community College District, Grand Canyon University, and various industry partners.

Rubin’s promotion to Executive Managing Director of Asset Management includes overseeing the company’s portfolio, finance and investor relationships as well as new business evaluation and underwriting.
